Electric Control System Of Electric Drilling Rig

I. Product Overview

 

The electric control system of electric drilling rig is a drive control system for electric drilling rigs independently developed and manufactured by our company by absorbing and adopting advanced domestic and international electric control technologies of drilling rigs and combining with a large number of on-site application experiences of drilling rigs over the years. This system is divided into DC electric control system and AC variable frequency electric control system according to different electric drilling rigs. The DC electric control system mainly includes generator set control unit, DC drive control unit (SCR), motor centralized control center (MCC), integrated control unit (PLC), etc. The AC variable frequency electric control system mainly includes generator set control unit, AC variable frequency control unit (VFD), motor centralized control center (MCC), integrated control unit (PLC), etc. The generator set control, motor set control operation, output characteristics, protection functions, etc. of the electric control system of the electric drilling rig can all meet the working parameters, performance and drilling process requirements of the drilling rig.

II. Main Characteristics

 

  1. The system has excellent speed regulation performance, protection ability, reliability and anti-interference ability;
  2. The system design is reasonable in layout, simple and reliable in operation, easy to maintain, inspect and repair;
  3. The system adopts reliable measures against misoperation, shock resistance, moisture-proof, water-proof and sand-proof, and complies with HSE operation procedures;
  4. Diesel generator sets can adopt full analog control technology or full digital control technology to adjust and control the frequency and voltage of the unit, and have functions such as grounding detection, phase sequence protection, overcurrent protection, overvoltage protection, undervoltage protection, underfrequency protection, overfrequency protection, reverse power protection, short-circuit protection, cabinet fault self-check, power limitation, etc. The main control parameters and functions match the commonly used diesel generator sets for drilling, meeting all or any two sets of grid-connected operation and balanced load distribution, normal and stable load transfer, and can meet the load characteristics of the drilling rig and the impact during the starting of the motor;
  5. The dragging performance of the electric control system meets the transmission requirements of the winch, rotary table and mud pump. The winch and rotary table motors have the functions of forward and reverse rotation, and the rotary table torque limit can be adjusted arbitrarily from 0 to 100%; When the motors are driven in parallel, the load is balanced and the rotational speed is synchronous;
  6. The DC electric control system adopts the AC-SCR-DC control scheme to rectify the 600V AC voltage into a continuously adjustable DC voltage of 0-750V to drive the DC motor with stepless speed regulation. Through the logical control of the DC contactor, it is switched to different allocation relationships;
  7. The AC variable frequency electric control system adopts advanced full digital variable frequency speed regulation technology and DC chopper technology, making the speed regulation performance of the motor more superior and the system control more simple; and it can provide a high power factor within the speed regulation range, effectively improving the usage efficiency of the diesel generator;
  8. The electric control system has a grid power interface and a filter compensation interface to meet the requirements of grid power supply mode and filter compensation configuration.

2.1 Main technical parameters of SCR cabinet: AC input voltage: 600V three-phase 50Hz; DC output voltage: 0 – 750V; DC output current: 0 – 1900A; Short-time maximum current: 2500A (1 minute)
2.2 Protection functions of SCR cabinet: AC input undervoltage protection, short circuit protection in the cabinet, overcurrent protection of SCR rectifier bridge, over-temperature protection of SCR rectifier bridge; Interlocking protection of operation procedures

 

  1. AC Variable Frequency Electric Control System (Taking 90DB as an example):
3.1 Inverter incoming line and rectifier cabinet: The total power is not less than 7500KW
3.2 Winch variable frequency control cabinet: Motor power 2 × 1200KW
3.3 Rotary table variable frequency control cabinet: Motor power 900KW
3.4 Drilling pump variable frequency control cabinet: 3 drilling pumps, and the driving motor power of each drilling pump is 2 × 900KW
